Gay Carol Best

Gay Carol Best of Hot Springs Village, died Sunday April 14^th, 2019 at the age of 84.

She was born May 8^th, 1935 in Pampa, Texas.  Gay Carol was an amazing mother and wife.  She was known as being devoted to others and lived a life dedicated to her children and grandchildren.  Gay Carol was a loving and affectionate wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to many.

Gay Carol had the opportunity to travel to many parts of the world and seemed to always find some time to play golf…an activity she enjoyed for many years.  However, her greatest joy was when all of the children were together sharing laughs.

She is survived her children Dale Phillips, Wade Phillips; stepdaughter, Dona Ebert; stepsons, Randy Best, Francis “Bud” Best, Mike Best; daughters-in-law; Rhonda “Sam” Phillips, Mary Beth Phillips, and Mary “Denise” Best; grandchildren, Erin Best, Justin Phillips, Mina Lui, Emi Capps, Ana Satoyoshi, Tami Dawson, and Chris Phillips.

A memorial service will be held at Cedar Vile Funeral Home, located at 200 Minorca Road, Hot Springs Village, at 2:00 PM Saturday April 27th.  Friends are Cordially invited to join the family to say goodbye.
